HOW TO RELAX YOUR MIND

Be it working professionals, students, businessmen or house-wives everyone lives with a level of persistent low-grade stress that has become so normal that most of the time, we don’t even realise that it exists.

However, we might not display obvious signs of stress but cortisol—the hormone associated with stress—plays havoc on our mental and physical health over a prolonged time. Therefore it’s important to bring some peace into our lives, even if we’re not feeling anxious.

Here are some tips to relax your mind and feel peaceful:

Meditation

Meditation is the saviour. It has immense positive effects on mind and body. It helps combat the physical and emotional effects of stress and can enhance your productivity. Initially it might seem hard to begin but once you muster all the courage to start and continue for a week, it will become a part of your lifestyle., All that you need to do is start with just 10 minutes to chant OM, just close your eyes practice deep breathing and chant OM, you will feel instant benefit with this little practise every day.

Focus on gratitude

In today’s world we have so much expectation from others that even a small dereliction by them can affect us negatively and ruin our mental health. In order to avoid this just stop expecting, be thankful when someone does something good for you but don’t waste your energies in expecting the same treatment every time. Having no expectations will free your spirit and if something good happens, then the surprise will enhance your mood. So, stop expecting and fill your heart with gratitude.

Notice internal judgements

Most of the time people don’t have enough time to think about us but we waste our time on fearing their judgements, actually the harshest criticisms we experience are often self-inflicted. Nothing bothers the mind more than self-judgements, so pay attention to your thought and notice when your inner critic speaks up. Being aware of these thoughts and replacing them with self-confidence is the first, and most important, step towards replacing criticism with calm.

FLY (First Love Yourself)

Stop being harsh on yourself, you deserve all the love and compassion in this world. Often we are so burdened with the expectations people have from us that we forget to love ourselves. This means acknowledging and accepting reality, and extending the same kind of compassion to ourselves that we would give to a friend or family member in our situation. Always remember, you are unique and this is the best gift you have. So, love yourself more than you love others

Prioritize Things

Every day, we have so much work to do, that our mind gets cluttered. So If you find that various activities keep coming up into your head distracting you from the task at hand, then it’s better to write down all the work in a journal or better off set a To do List in your computer or mobile. This will not only clear your mind from all the stress but will also help you to do things effectively and in a time bound manner.

Speak up your mind

Most often we keep our anger, our frustration and our fears to ourselves which makes us not only more angry but also hampers our well being. In order to avoid this, start sharing your feelings, be it with your partner, parents or with a friend. Try to speak up all that you feel, don’t worry about breaking your walls of strength, it’s good to speak up and end the thoughts instead of pondering over them and spoiling your health.

Exercise

We all know that exercise improves our sense of mental well-being, exercising for just 10 minutes a day can release chemicals that help induce a state of mental and physical peace. Even a walk or spending time in natural surroundings can rejuvenate our mood.

Plan your day in advance

Every night before sleeping, choose the clothes you have to wear the next day, pack your office bag and decide on what you will cook in morning, keep all the vegetables ready and begin your day with no confusion. Starting your day with clear mind will be a blessing for the entire day.

Does building a well-established website such as yours take a large
amount of work? I am completely new to writing a blog but I do write in my diary everyday.
I’d like to start a blog so I can easily share my
personal experience and feelings online. Please let me
know if you have any kind of recommendations or tips for brand new
    aspiring blog owners. Appreciate it!
